Its predicted density, in parallel with governmental plans to make Sejong the country’s second largest administrative city after Seoul, led to the decision to integrate Envac’s system within the fabric of Sejong city’s urban infrastructure.
The Envac system replaced 70-80 waste collection vehicles with an underground pipe network, supporting GIFT City’s traffic management plan while creating a blueprint for future-proofed waste collection in India.
Envac is one of a number of select technologies to showcase Australia’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation that includes smart lighting, real time traffic management systems and high-speed fibre connections.
