Envac was appointed as waste collection partner because of its strong record of adding technological and environmental value to the buildings and communities it serves.

The Envac system replaced 70-80 waste collection vehicles with an underground pipe network, supporting GIFT City’s traffic management plan while creating a blueprint for future-proofed waste collection in India.

Sorting Oslo is a waste collection project in Norway’s capital, using Envac’s pneumatic system to improve recycling efficiency. It supports Oslo’s environmental goals by enabling automated waste sorting. The system reduces carbon emissions and enhances urban sustainability.

Through RFID technology and the subsequent data gathered, residents know – and better understand – their waste footprint due to the feedback they receive. It also provides the municipalities with actionable insights.

Hermetically sealed steel waste inlets throughout the kitchen’s preparation area, dishwashing area and cleaning areas are connected to Envac’s state-of-the-art pneumatic waste removal system eliminating the need for unhygienic manual waste handling.

At Doha’s state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport, there are five pneumatic waste collection systems that gather kitchen waste from Qatar Airlines Flight Catering, and six systems that collect mixed waste generated within the terminal building. Envac designed, built, operates, and maintains all eleven systems.

When Stora Ursvik, known as `Sundbyberg´s green corner’, decided to minimise traffic in the area they appointed Envac to build on its reputation as a “sopsugskommun” – a pneumatic waste collection municipality.
