At Hamad Intl Airport five Envac systems collect kitchen waste from the catering facility while four systems collect mixed waste generated within the terminal building.

The new part of the hospital opened in 2023 and faces Folkungagatan. To optimise the internal logistics at the hospital, Ersta hospital chose Envac to install a pneumatic chute system for both waste and laundry.

One of the most notable measures adopted by the hospital is the installation of Envac’s automatic waste collection system. The system is designed to collect four different waste streams: paper, confidential paper, residual, and plastic.

The project is on a 399,741.70 sqm site with amenities like a fitness centre, swimming pool, daycare centre, and 12,000 sqm central park.

Karla Tower – the tallest building in the Nordics chooses a smart waste collection system from Envac to easily solve waste management and avoid heavy waste collection traffic.

In Barking Riverside 460 Envac waste inlets will replace 19 000 traditional bins along with UK’s first super shredder for cardboard. Envac has launched the UK’s first ever residential cardboard shredder at Barking Riverside, one of Europe’s largest housing developments.

Envac Finland has introduced an enhanced waste disposal system at The Bridge Hospital, which has resulted in improved safety and efficiency. The system covers general waste, soiled linen vertical shafts, and automated platform conveyors on every floor, reducing the need for staff and patients to transport waste through hallways and elevators.

Place Vendôme in Lusail, Qatar have implemented a standalone pneumatic waste collection system (PWCS) to serve the mall’s waste management needs.

Envac’s waste collection system at Expo Park in Lisbon is an underground automated waste collection system that uses a vast network of pipes to transport waste from various locations in the area to a central collection station. The system was implemented in 1998 as part of the infrastructure for Expo ’98 and has since been expanded and modernised to accommodate the area’s growing needs.

The Envac system has optimised the use of space by avoiding the need for conventional waste collection infrastructure involving bins and collection trucks. By 2025, around 24,000 residents will use the system that will handle up to 6,000 tonnes of waste and recycling per year.
